Montana Posed for Playboy
Montana Fishburne
*According to TMZ, the 19-year-old porn star and daughter
of Morpheus, Montana Fishburne posed naked once for Playboy
… well it was just a test run for Playboy Magazine.
The pictures, in which Fishburne is said to have gone
full-frontal, appear to have not met the standards of the
men’s magazine since they were never published.
Montana, whose performing name is “Chippy D,” previously
stated that she plans to use a sex tape to thrust her porn
career, saying she was inspired by Kim Kardashian.
“I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I
think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by
Vivid,” Fishburne said in a press release.” I’m hoping
the same magic will work for me. I’m impatient about getting
well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like
a great way

Will Oprah Do Her Last Show From A Football
Stadium?

*Oprah Winfrey reportedly wants to host the final episode of
her long-running show in a football stadium.
She’s planning a star-studded finale in September, 2011 when
“The Oprah Winfrey Show” will end its 25 years run.
She’ll supposedly move the production from her Chicago studio
to the city’s 61,500 capacity Solder Field, the home of the
Chicago Bears football team, in a bid to pack in a bigger
audience.
But Winfrey has admitted the notoriously unpredictable climate
in Chicago could scupper plans for an open-air finale.
“I don’t know if that’s going to happen. You can never
count on Chicago weather,” she tells TV Guide magazine.
Remember, she’s not retiring, but leaving her syndicated talk
show to run her OWN — Oprah Winfrey Network.

Beck, Sharpton Lead
Rallies in Washington
Glenn Beck at
his DC rally
Al Sharpton at
his DC rally
*Conservative commentator Glenn Beck and
tea party champion Sarah Palin appealed
Saturday to a vast, predominantly white
crowd on the National Mall to help restore
traditional American values and honor Martin
Luther King’s message. Civil rights
leaders who accused the group of hijacking
King’s legacy held their own rally and
march.
While Beck billed his event as
nonpolitical, conservative activists said
their show of strength was a clear sign that
they can swing elections because much of the
country is angry with what many voters call
an out-of-touch Washington.
Palin told the tens of thousands who
stretched from the marble steps of the
Lincoln Memorial to the grass of the
Washington Monument that calls to transform
the country weren’t enough. “We must
restore America and restore her honor,”
said the former Alaska governor, echoing the
name of the rally, “Restoring Honor.”
Palin, the GOP vice presidential nominee
in 2008 and a potential White House
contender in 2012, and Beck repeatedly cited
King and made references to the Founding
Fathers. Beck put a heavy religious cast on
nearly all his remarks, sounding at times
like an evangelical preacher.
“Something beyond imagination is
happening,” he said. “America today
begins to turn back to God.”
Beck exhorted the crowd to “recognize
your place to the creator. Realize that he
is our king. He is the one who guides and
directs our life and protects us.” He
asked his audience to pray more. “I ask,
not only if you would pray on your knees,
but pray on your knees but with your door
open for your children to see,” he said.
A group of civil rights activists
organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton held a
counter rally at a high school, then
embarked on a three-mile march to the site
of a planned monument honoring King. The
site, bordering the Tidal Basin, was not far
from the Lincoln Memorial where Beck and the
others spoke about two hours earlier.
Sharpton and the several thousand
marching with him crossed paths with some of
the crowds leaving Beck’s rally. People
wearing “Restoring Honor” and tea party
T-shirts looked on as Sharpton’s group
chanted “reclaim the dream” and “MLK,
MLK.” Both sides were generally
restrained, although there was some mutual
taunting.
One woman from the Beck rally shouted to
the Sharpton marchers: “Go to church.
Restore America with peace.” Some civil
rights marchers chanted “don’t drink the
tea” to people leaving Beck’s rally.
Sharpton told his rally it was important
to keep King’s dream alive and that
despite progress more needs to be done.
“Don’t mistake progress for arrival,”
he said.

‘Takers’ and
‘Exorcism’ in Neck and neck Race at Box
Office

*According to
the AP, the scary movie “The Last
Exorcism” and the heist thriller
“Takers” are in a photo finish for the
top spot at the weekend box office.
“Takers” is showing in 2,206 theaters
compared to the 2,874 screens for
“Exorcism.” The caper film cost $30
million to make and had been expected to
finish just under $20 million for the
weekend.
According to
studio estimates Sunday, “The Last
Exorcism” had a thin lead with a $21.3
million debut, closely followed by
“Takers” with a $21 million opening.
They were close enough that rankings could
change after final numbers are released
Monday.

Janice Dickenson: Tyra Didn’t Mean It!

*After the public made a fuss about Tyra’s controversial
commercial for “America’s Next Top Model” that praised a
6’2” skeleton model, Tyra apologized for the promo.
She said the commercial was “misconstrued.”
However, not that anybody cares, but Janice Dickinson
doesn’t believe it.
“[Ex]cuse me, but Tyra is the executive producer of that
show,” Dickinson told Access Hollywood. “She has her finger
on everything. No, I don’t believe it.”
“It’s her show. She’s very controlling. She’s the
hardest working woman on that show. She has her finger on that
pulse – trust me. “Everything they shoot is
intentional. Don’t tell me different. I did it for five
seasons,” Dickinson argued.
In the original promotion, the wanna be model’s waist is so
tiny, Miss J fit both his hands around it (see below … Janice
Dickenson’s photo). Tyra made a big deal about it saying,
“There’s something about her I like.”

Andrew Young Docu-Debut

*Although it wasn’t too glamorous, the evening was sure
pumped with star power at Tuesday night’s screening of
Andrew Young’s documentary “Change in the Wind.”
Atlantamagazine.com reports that the film chronicles the
secret correspondence between Gone with the Wind author
Margaret Mitchell and Morehouse College president Benjamin
Mays, and the unlikely friendship that developed between the
Civil Rights crusading educator and the author of the novel
glorifying the Old South and eventually led to Mitchell’s
decision to (secretly again) sponsor Morehouse medical
students.
Atlanta Daily World publisher Alexis Scott and other big
timers perused the lobby filled with artifacts from the
University of Georgia. Other big wigs who attended include
Kasim Reed, broadcast journalist, Margaret Mitchell House
& Museum founder Mary Rose Taylor, Jasmine Guy.

Beyonce Opens Up a
Little

*But not too much. The bigger than
life singer has been slowly cracking
open the door to her personal life,
letting her fans know a bit more info
here an there about life beyond the
music.
In a recent interview with Self
magazine, Beyonce shared that she is a
bit of a messy lady, leaving her clothes
on the floor. But she said she’s
working hard to improve that bad habit.
In the mean time, while she’s married
to music mogul Jay-Z, she says she
enjoys the simple things in life.
“I love going to dinners, seeing
plays, visiting museums and spending
time with family and friends. I know
it’s time to jump back into my work
when everything I do starts inspiring
lyrics and melodies and I can’t keep
myself out of the studio.”
